4X4 Safari - 10 Days 4X4 Tours to Rupununi/Bartica
Day 1 :
Arrive at International Airport, Transfer to a Hotel in Georgetown.
Day 2 :
An early start with a 4x4, along the Linden Highway, all the way to Mabura, and then on to Kurupukari crossing,stoping at Iwokrama, to have a view of the forest from above on the only canopy walk way in the Jungle, continue on to Surama a native Amerindian village, overnight at the village.(12 hours)
Day 3 :
After Breakfast, a tour of the village, a boat ride down the Boro Boro river, return in time for lunch, we leave the village then continue on to Annai, this is a town in the North Rupununi,we overnight at Rockview lodge.(3 hours).
Day 4 :
After breakfast and a tour of the rockview lodge, we continue on to Karanambu Ranch, this is where you will see and interact with Giant River Otters, Manager Ms McTurk, will certainly make you feel at home, overnight.
Day 5 :
After Breakfast, you will continue your Journey, on to Lethem, this is a small town and borders Brazil, you will tour this town, and over night at Savannah Inn Hotel. (4 hours)
Day 6 :
After breakfast, your journey continue, this time to the south Rupununi,a 4 hrs drive will take you to Dadanawa Ranch, this ranch is an active one where you will see cowboys breaking in horses and bulls, a horse ride can also be arranged. Overnight.
Day 7 :
An early start, will take you back to Lethem, and a plane flight, to Georgetown, Overnight, at a city Hotel.
Day 8 :
An early start will take you across the Demerara Harbour Bridge, and along the West Coast of Demerara to Parika a Little Town, on the East Bank of Essequibo, then a boat Journey to a resort, This is where you will Relax on the Beach, and enjoy some luxurious comfort. Overnight.
Day 9 :
Be awakened early in the morning by the Birds whistling sweet melodies, a pleasure to your ears, to day you can take a walk in the rainforest trails or go for a boat ride along the River to Visit a mining town,Bartica Overnight.
Day 10 :
Today you will return back to Georgtown, Transfer to International Airport, for Journey back home
